English teaching job requirements in Lebanon and abroad.
If you have a formal teaching qualification such as English Literature or Linguistics (for example, you majored or have a master’s degree in education) you’re a great fit for English teaching jobs in Lebanese schools. Yet, high reputable schools or universities require internationally acknowledged teaching certificates such as: TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) /TEFL or CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults).
What if we can acquire both?
How?
Our new newly certified English program comprises three components: Literature-Teaching –Language. You will acquire all three equal components of literature, teaching and Language courses plus a CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) certification.
Now that AUT has an MOU with the University of Cambridge, the CELTA will be held on one of AUT’s campuses and implemented by the University of Cambridge in Lebanon.
This way our new English BA program has encompassed both a BA in English components and an internationally recognized English teaching qualification.
This qualification allows you to work in all reputable universities and in prestigious institutes and universities in the Middle East.
