Georges Rammouz

Georges Rammouz is an associate professor at the American University of Technology. He received his MSc in Molecular and Supramolecular Chemistry and his PhD in Chemistry Biology and Health in 2006 from Paul Sabatier University in France.From 2007 till 2011, hegot a postdoctoral fellow in analytical biochemistry at McGill University -Montreal, Canada. His main project consisted on the diagnosis for Alzheimer’s disease,drug developmentand nutritional related domains. From January 2012, Dr Rammouz got a Faculty position as an assistant professor and coordinator of the Nutrition and Dietetics program at the American University of Technology, Lebanon. His research has been published and presented so far in more than twenty national/international journals and scientific meetings. In 2016 he was promoted to an Associate Professor and in January 2021, Dr Rammouz was appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the American University of Technology. Apart from his passion in teaching and research, Dr. Rammouz is a board member of the NGO –Club Des Sciences and a member of the Lebanese Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In addition, he enjoystravelling, swimming, standup, football and cooking.
