The Association Internationale des Universites du Troisieme Age held its Governing Board meeting and its international conference in Yantai and Wuhan , China in October 2019.
VP Marcel Hinain represented AUT and presented its program for the Silk Road Tour in Lebanon. One Belt One Road was the theme of the conference and each member university attending presented its own tourism plan.
Participants signed a convention that encourages silver tourism among member universities in the presence of the Yantai Tourism Board president.
Hinain also took part in the AIUTA Governing Board meeting that approved entry of new members and discussed the budget.
