EMCO GM at AUT on Water Resources
In presence of 5 school counselors and a select group of AUT Water Resources Science students and alumni , a presentation on the vast careers in the water sector was given by Wael Chalhoub, general manager of EMCO which is one of the largest companies in the world for water treatment and member of AUT Advisory Board.
Chalhoub assured the attendees that the water sector in Lebanon is on the verge of massive recruitment of experts due to the German and French projects on water sector rehabilitation to put an end to the Mediterranean Sea pollution .
He spoke on the various areas of employment awaiting graduates in Water Resources from AUT and urged school counselors to encourage their students to enroll in this major, unique to AUT, and also benefit from scholarships offered by EMCO and AUT.
Chalhoub is being hosted by AUT again on July 27 at 5:30 pm
