The information session about the University of London degree programmes offered with AUT under academic supervision by London School of Economics and Political Science- LSE was attended by over 60 students who came from various schools.
Dr James Abdey, lecturer in Statistics at LSE provided details about the LSE-led BSc programs in Banking and Finance and in Business and Management and answered questions about the advantages of pursuing these prestigious programs at AUT.
VP Marcel Hinain spoke about AUT’s leadership in offering double degree programs and its history in dealing with foreign universities as part of the AUT policy of building a tripartite relationship that also includes the job market. Hinain spoke of similar initiatives with University of Aberdeen, Babson College, State University of New York and others.
Students also interacted with LSE alumnus Fadi Abi Mona who spoke of the impact of LSE on legislation and governance in the UK and around the world.
Admissions requirements were presented by Mireille Rachwan after a presentation by the British Council about the IELTS exam which is required for admission into these programs.
