An MOU opening the way for collaboration at various levels has been signed by AUT represented by North Campus director Dr Elias Khalil and by Kousba Municipality represented by mayor Akl Jreije.
Residents of Kousba will enjoy benefits at AUT including help in special tuition fees and application processing and the town will enjoy assistance by AUT in its water resources development and testing . Senior citizens will have regular courses and presentations on topics of interest within the scope of the University for the Third Age which is a department of AUT founded in 2013.
The signature ceremony was held at Kousba municipal house in presence of AUT staff Salim Ayoub and Nada Salem.
