The Minister of Tourism, Walid Nassar, received in his office the Vice President of the American University of Technology Marcel Hinain who offered the congratulations of AUT on his appointment as Minister of Tourism.
Nassar briefed Hinain on the ministry’s work program for the coming months and discussed several aspect of cooperation.
Hinain offered to hold a dialogue meeting between Nassar, the tourism institutions in Lebanon, and the students, on the university campus in Fidar at a date that will be announced later.
The meeting will be an occasion to link closely the industry to the minister and to keep AUT students informed on the tourism trends in Lebanon despite the difficulties that the country is going through.
