In the scope of the annual conference of the International Association of the Universities for the Third Age (AIUTA-IAUTA) held in Wuhan, China, a symposium was organized around silver tourism of the tourism of senior citizens with the participation of over 46 universities for the third age including AUT.
Resolutions to encourage senior tourism among the member universities were approved and AUT, represented by VP Marcel Hinain signed the charter.
