For the 188th anniversary of University of London foundation, AUT president Ghada Hinain and VP Marcel Hinain were invited to attend an official ceremony presided by UoL Chancellor HRH Princess Ann.
The Founders Day ceremony, attended by selected 120 guests, included the granting of Doctorate Honoris Causa diplomas to Queen Camila and 4 other personalities with achievements in sciences and social work. Queen Camilla was awarded the PhD for her work in disseminating the love of reading and literature among the population.
Hinain met with University of London Vice Chancellor Wendy Thompson and discussed the expansion of relations between AUT and UoL.
Discussions for the same purpose were also held with the Associate Director of Recognized Teaching Centers Emily Scott and the Director of International Marketing Janie Kingsley.
AUT is a Recognized Teaching Center for the Master of Laws- LLM- for University of London in Lebanon and has been ranked among the top centers due to the high rate of success at the examinations for the LLM.
