With Best Director and Best Narrative awards earned by Perla Eid and Nadine El Sayegh respectively for their short films, AUT audio-visual talent was very evident at the Lebanese Independent Film Festival LIFF which took place in Beirut from 21 to 24 September 2023.
Other AUT students volunteered in the organization of the festival and received rave reviews by LIFF founder Gauthier Raad.
This success adds to a long list of successes by former AUT students in the Kafaat Film Festival, Pamela Khadra and Sandra Boutros in addition to the success of Shadi Rebahi as a film maker, Charbel Chouchany and tareck Raffoul in their international film careers, Elio Chayeb in the UAE, high and many others.
