At the initiative of the Youth District of Lions International, a workshop for communication with people that suffer from disability in sight, hearing and speech was offered at AUT for students and the community .
Basics of non violent communication and of sign language were discussed interactively with the audience after a blind yoga sequence where participants had a blindfold while following instructions.
The last sequence was dedicated to speech impairment and to assistive technology.
The District 351 Governor of Lions international together with AUT President Founder distributed certificates to attendees at the end of this workshop that was highly valued by students
