On the occasion of his visit to Beirut to attend the launch of his latest film, Tirailleurs, released in 2022, Mathieu Vadepied, one of the best-known French movie directors (also DOP of Intouchables), visited AUT and had a discussion with AUT film students and AUT faculty and staff.
The discussion focused on the film industry today, and on Vadepied’s journey and the characteristics of his films. Prior to the discussion, the audience watched one of Vadepied’s films (La Vie en grand, 2015). A lunch was held on the occasion.
