Australian Lebanese businessman Dr Ihab Matar was welcomed by AUT members of the Board of Trustees on April 12, 2022. Matar who hails from Tripoli has made a successful career in Australia and is completing a PhD in anatomy at University of New South Wales.
AUT president Ghada Hinain outlined the interest of Dr Matar in supporting higher education and asked the president of the Board to formally welcome Matar who said a word stressing his involvement in supporting the higher education of young Lebanese.
The Board then invited the provost and the deans to present the activities they led over the past two years and the plans for the two years ahead.
